The Remnant Church Team

Pastor Mike Drouin

Pastor

Pastor Mike Drouin is the head of all ministries at Remnant Church. Pastor Mike has appointed leaders to fulfill specific jobs. Some of these leaders have direct ministry responsibility, other leaders perform administrative duties. All of the leadership at Remnant Church has been called to their positions by God and voluntarily commit themselves to high moral and ethical standards.

Dan Garman

Kingdom Builders Class-Teacher
Dan Garman

Dan Garman is a lay-leader at Remnant and assists in various teaching and outreach responsibilities. Having committed his life to Christ as a young teen, he began to be developed in ministries in his home church and Christian high school in Lancaster County, PA. While attending Liberty University, he was called to serve in the United States Marine Corps. After serving in Desert Storm in the Persian Golf, Dan and his wife Laurie moved to Indiana and began ministering as Youth Pastors and raising 5 children. God called them to self-employment in the Home Construction field and they also began homeschooling. God used these adventures to equip them to go on various international mission trips for construction, as well as teaching Kingdom principles. Dan is presently serving as Renovation Manager, Adult Sunday School Teacher and other preaching engagements. When he is not at the church, you can find him gardening, or camping with his family. At the age of 48, he is currently expanding his influence by attending Charis Bible College online to operate more effectively in his gifts and callings.

Laurie Garman

Mops Ministry Team Leader
Laurie Garman

Before being introduced to Christ, Laurie had no direction or purpose for her life…but then she met Jesus! She discovered hope. Her desire is to know Christ more and more everyday and her pursuit after His call on her life has never been dull. Along with her husband, Dan Garman, Laurie spent time as youth pastors when they first married and then had the privilege of raising 5 children (4 daughters and 1 son). They also had the honor of homeschooling their children—and Laurie honestly says, “it was the most challenging, yet most rewarding experience of my life—what a gift God has given me for us to be able to do life together as a family!” Laurie is excited to be a part of the MOPS program at Remnant, and to help other moms with support, encouragement, prayer and friendships. Outside of Remnant, she took on the challenge of being the Nature, Wildlife, and Habitat Gardener at her local library as well as a secretary for her husband, Dan’s, construction business. With being a Home School Mom, Taxi Driver, Chef, Teacher, Nurse, Cheerleader, and a Drummer on the church worship team—her days are always full of adventures!

Samantha Garman

Worship Leader/ Executive Assistant
Samantha Garman

Samantha joined Remnant in May of 2013, and began serving in the music ministry 3 months later. When you see her at a church service—you will see notice her engaged in many aspects—both on the stage and behind the scenes! Music is her passion, hobby, and profession. Sam strives to impart passion not only to praise God on Sunday mornings, but to live a life where every action is a whole-hearted expression of worship through faith and obedience. During a worship service, you will most likely spot her behind a keyboard—and that is where she could easily spend all day!! Yet, Sam’s heart for the Gospel goes far beyond singing about it. After graduating High School, she began studying evangelism through Valor Christian College online—and uses that training frequently when both traveling internationally, and leading our Evangelism Team into the local “highways and hedges”.

Jon Mock

Teen Youth Pastor
Jon and Chelsea Mock

In 2013 Jonathan & Chelsea made a shift to grow closer to God and that shift started at Remnant Church. Within a short span, much has occurred for this dynamic duo! Since attending Remnant, Jonathan and Chelsea have been involved in group evangelism, the worship team, and a variety of leadership roles. In the beginning of 2015, Jonathan felt a call to the youth in the area to reach out to teens who may be confused or lost in their faith. Within this time span, Pastor Mike specifically came to Jonathan and asked if he would like to be the Youth Pastor for the teen age group and this gave Chelsea the opportunity to assist as a youth leader. Needless to say, the opportunity could have not come at a more perfect time. Jonathan and his wife, Chelsea love to show others the love of Jesus and believe the majority of our youth today is lacking the knowledge of this love. During the day Chelsea works as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Greenfield and Jonathan as a Fraud Investigation Specialist in Greenwood. They enjoy spending time with their cat, Donna.
